  Darjeeling is the hill station of West Bengal. This has been called the queen of hill-stations.It offers the cool height of the Himalayas. The nature is at its best. The spectacular sunrise and sunsets are unforgettable sights at Darjeeling India. The hill resort has attracted botanists, ornithologists, trekkers, photographers and holidaymakers alike.   Summer : Summer is mild with maximum temperature never crossing 20 C. The pleasant climate attracts lots of tourists during this season.  
     
  Monsoon : Monsoon are accompanied with intense rain. Lasting from July to August, this season's torrential downpours are notorious for the landslides that they cause.  
     
  Winter : Winters in Darjeeling are pretty extreme with temperatures hovering between 18 C to 2 C, and sometimes dropping to as low as -2 C. The long hard winter is followed by spring season.
